Well, now the dust has settled and the celebrations have ended it now time to write to you.
From start to finish you have been amazing and reassuring especially when I’ve been slightly neurotic, you’ve been at the end of a text or email for even the silliest of questions, you truly are an amazing award winner team, our day was perfect and couldn’t have been better if we’d tried, from the location to the reception and the flowers, we couldn’t have had a better day.
It was filled with love, laughter and tears(happy ones).
A shout out to Mikki and her team for taking us to special places for our photos can’t wait to see them.

We just wanted to send you a MASSIVE thank you, for helping to create the perfect, relaxed, stress-free wedding that we hoped for.

I had always hoped to get married on a beach, a small relaxed ceremony… and you made it happen!

From the first message, you responded immediately to every one of my questions. You made us feel so at ease arranging our wedding abroad, and keeping us right with paperwork etc.

From the moment we met, we trusted you had everything in hand. And that you did! We cannot thank you and your team enough for helping us finally marry and in the way we wanted, with our family. 💕

You’re incredible at what you do, so glad we found you.

We will definitely return to Crete in the future, hopefully meet up with you for a wee drink

Hi Rue,

I hope you are keeping well and enjoying the wintery weather and northern lights - Oscar looked to be loving the snow!

I just wanted to finally sit down and send a email with my full appreciation (the return to work after a while off leaves me tied up for a while ha).

As everyone attests to, this truly is your calling, you make the whole process which seems so daunting actually so simple.

Every question had, no matter how silly it is, you are quick to respond and super helpful and knowledgeable.

All pre preparation before flying out was easy to navigate thanks to your robust support, all preparation whilst in Crete ran so smoothly and was even enjoyable due to you, you kept all nerves at bay by making us laugh and smile along the way.

The day itself was organised down to the smallest of details, all the people you use are also amazing, my hair and makeup were absolutely perfect (for someone who is self conscious, they made me feel beautiful - big thanks to Katie and Sofia!). The photographer even managed to make Ashley at ease which is a feat because he is not a fan or photography (big thanks Mikki and Penny - can’t wait to see the results). The flowers and cake were gorgeous and very importantly you made sure to keep us at ease throughout by making us laugh but also you made sure that everyone felt involved including our daughter.

It’s been something that we’ve wanted to do for some time but we were put off by how difficult we thought it would be to navigate but you blew that out of the water and made it perfect but also simple.

Thank you so much for making our day amazing.

Can’t wait to hopefully catch up on an anniversary in the future and treat you to a drink or two 😊 Sending lots of love

From the first email I sent you and reading the reviews I was confident you were the lady for us!

When we arrived in Crete and met you in person you made us feel at ease and not worry about a thing. (When we left you mark said to me " Yes she will sort everything" and you did) from Sophia for my hair, Katie for the makeup and Mikki for photography and not forgetting Penny.

We originally wanted to get married on the island of Crete but couldn't afford it at the time but after 10 years of being married we wanted to renew our vows there and you made that wish happen.

Thank you again for your help and support throughout this journey, you truly are an amazing lady and would recommend you to everyone for a wedding or renewal.

All the best hope we bump into each other next time we are in Crete.

Never did we think our magical day would be something we could achieve within budget and with a toddler!

You made everything possible, listened to exactly what we wanted, had the best recommendations, and managed to exceed all expectation to create our perfect day.

We had no idea where to start but your knowledge and experience shone through as you guided us through the paperwork and wedding day every step of the way, keeping us relaxed and excited! Anyone we spoke to leading up to the big day commented on how calm we were with all the formalities and planning, and for that we can only thank you.

You made it such an enjoyable experience – even with our 'computer said no' error on the UK paperwork side!

We would recommend you over and over to anyone who wants to get married.

Crete will forever hold a special place in our hearts, and we can’t wait to return again so we’re sure our paths with cross!

I just want to say a big thank you to Rue and Debbie for creating such a fantastic memorable day for us.
It could've been extremely tough planning everything from the UK but having Rue’s help and support everything was easy!
Rue listened to everything that we wanted and helped us keep within budget.
Everything was flawless from start to finish.
Rue helped us keep calm and ensured the full day went without a glitch.
It was great that Rue conducted the ceremony which kept this more personal.
Her recommended suppliers, wedding belles Crete (mua), Mikki for the photography and Manos the DJ were fantastic.
Big shout out to Manos - All the guests loved him and kept everyone dancing the full night.

Hope you and Jenny are well. Peter and I have finally come down from the high we were on after the wedding and seeing those fabulous photos.

When Peter and I decided to get married we knew we wanted a beach wedding on the beautiful island of Crete. We fortunately were recommended the lovely Rue from Sun and Snow Weddings who helped us every step of the way both legally and practically towards our dream wedding at the end of May this year.

Rue found us the perfect venue for our beach ceremony and together with her assistant Jenny they worked extremely hard to ensure on the day everything ran smoothly which left us and our guests to have the most amazing and memorable day.

Rue’s choice of photographer and florist were second to none. The flowers were beautiful and just as we imagined and the photographs are absolutely amazing.

We couldn't recommend her and her team highly enough.
Thank you Rue from Peter and Lesley for a truly fabulous day and for making our dream come true.

We wanted to thank you for organising our amazing wedding day. You made the planning process stress free from the beginning by talking us through the process, answering emails speedily and making money saving suggestions as well as making us think about details we wouldn't have considered.

You also made last minute arrangements when I realised I would need someone to steam my dress when we arrived- things like this made us feel that everything and anything could be taken care of.

Our guests also commented on just how perfect the day was and how smoothly everything went which we were really pleased about.

I found Rue (Sun and Snow weddings) after searching through various different wedding forums online where she had been highly recommended. As we were planning a wedding abroad and weren’t planning on visiting Crete before the big day due to money/time constraints, it was important for us to choose a wedding planner that spoke English and actually lived over there. This was a huge advantage as Rue could recommend all venues, hotels and restaurants due to her local knowledge.

Rue is extremely hard-working, honest and approachable. She was very organised and took the stress away from us completely when it came to planning the wedding. There really was very little for us to do thanks to Rue! She was readily available to email or skype, and would always give an honest opinion for what would work best – she certainly knows her stuff!

As soon as we arrived in Crete, Rue met us the next day at our hotel and took us to visit our venues, which surpassed our expectations! She helped us choose the most beautiful setting, and a lovely restaurant (Thalassa) in Plaka for our wedding reception.

On the day itself, Rue was there the entire time with a few assistants that ensured the running of the day went smoothly. We weren’t aware of any hiccups and she took care of everything, including organising our guests.

I would highly recommend Rue to plan anybody’s wedding, she is trustworthy, organised and experienced.

Thank you Rue for an amazing day that we will treasure forever!
